OVERCOMING TRIALS AND TRIBULATION

OUR DAILY BREAD

John 16:33

I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth, you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.”

Most believers have the mindset, the moment one becomes a Christian or believer one automatically becomes free from trials, infirmities, persecution, tribulations, and challenges in this world. Yes, you have been SAVED into a realm that you can overcome by grace .but that does not mean you will not encounter it.

The Bible clearly makes it known to us, this is the weapon of the enemy to engage us in negative thinking, distraction, discouragement, doubt, uncertainty, delay, and disbelief in order to make wrong decisions for our own destruction.

But the understanding of the word in you gives you a different perspective to overcome trials and tribulation, and you grow in faith, Acts 16:16-40, said when Paul and Silas were arrested and prison for preaching the good news, they never allow that challenge to swallow the peace they have in Christ in their evangelism work, they refuse it. They knew in Christ they have peace, and in the world, there will be challenges, and they started worshiping and praising the peace giver instead of murmuring. I always advise my fellows in Christ not to worry about what is beyond them and allow grace to operate, so you can be in a position to glorify God.

Paul cried for God to lift a burden on him, God answered “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Then he concluded, I rather boast so the power of Christ will rest on him, my brother there are no trials and tribulations beyond Christ in you, therefore I encourage you to be cheerful for all is working together for your Good. for you are called for his purpose 2 Corinthians 12:9, Romans 8:28.
