Bible Verse - John 14:9

Jesus answered: “Don’t you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?

A few days ago the entire world including those who don’t believe in Christ Jesus, joined believers around the globe, to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. And the new year. The question I may ask myself is what was Jesus' purpose on the earth?

Many answers suggest that He came to die and save mankind. He came to heal and set people free from bondage. The book of John 1:18 says, No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is himself God and is in closest relationship with the Father, has made him known. With these scriptures unfold to us, Jesus came to reveal the Father to us.

Philip responded in our theme verse. “Don’t you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? This was his affirmation to Simon.

Therefore, through Jesus! God is revealed unto us. As a believer, you are to make him known to the world through personal evangelism, among school friends, at work, and with your family. May nations come to know God through you, John 17:3 says! Now this is eternal life: they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent. Amen

DECLARATION

I declare that God desires that I make him known in all things. I take hold of God's Word, which prevails in my life, causing me to consistently preach his word for him to be known. I confess God's blessings upon my life. I declare I am in God's rest through Jesus Christ where all my needs are met according to his riches in Christ Jesus. Glory! Hallelujah!!

PRAYER

Dear Lord, I thank You for the grace to reveal you to everyone I come across in life in Jesus' Mighty name, Amen.
