07 DAYS FASTING AND PRAYERS - Day4 - 06/04/2023

Exodus 17:10-13

”10 So Joshua fought the Amalekites as Moses had ordered, and Moses, Aaron and Hur went to the top of the hill. [11] As long as Moses held up his hands, the Israelites were winning, but whenever he lowered his hands, the Amalekites were winning. [12] When Moses’ hands grew tired, they took a stone and put it under him and he sat on it. Aaron and Hur held his hands up—one on one side, one on the other—so that his hands remained steady till sunset. [13] So Joshua overcame the Amalekite army with the sword.

Our scripture above said Whenever Moses raised his hands, Israel was victorious, but when he lowered them Amalek prevailed, Moses’ hand lifted to heaven symbolises their dependence on God, the acknowledgement of God’s presence, the battle belongs to God, and praising God’s victory is their irrespective of how fierce the battle was, Paul and Silas was out of prison through the power of praises.

Prayer points to consider( Praying to understand the power of praises)

1) Pray may the Holy Spirit help you to understand the importance of praises

2) May the Holy Spirit help you not to surrender to any situation that may restrain you from praising and thanking God.

3) May the Holy Spirit help you to praise and thank God instead of wrong meditation. May your life reflect what the 24 elders are doing before HIS PRESENCE every day (praise and worship.
