A LIFE OF THANKSGIVING

DECLARATION

1 Thessalonians 5:18

[18] give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus

Jesus was traveling along the border between Samaria and Galilee to Jerusalem, on his way going, ten men inflicted with leprosy at a distance called on Jesus in a loud voice. “Master Jesus pity us”

When Jesus saw them, he was moved with passion and said “go and show yourself to the priest, on their way going they realized they are clean. Luke 17:15-16 says One of them, when he saw he was healed, came back, praising God in a loud voice. He threw himself at Jesus’ feet and thanked him.

In verse 17 Jesus asked, “Were not all ten cleansed? Where are the other nine? 18 Has no one returned to give praise to God except this foreigner?” [19] Then he said to him, “Rise and go; your faith has made you well.” Jesus demanded thanks and praises to God from all the ten men but only one person came to appreciate what Jesus has done for him.

Our theme verse says! give thanks in all circumstances for that is the will of God, why? thanksgiving bring complete deliverance into our life although they were all healed this man with thanksgiving completed his healing deliverance. Also, it delivers us from trouble.

Psalm 50:14-15 says [14] “Sacrifice thank offerings to God, fulfill your vows to the Highest, [15] and call on me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you will honor me.” . 2 Chronicles 20 Though the battle is not yet fought, Jehoshaphat declares praises and thanksgiving and they were victorious over their enemies.

Thanksgiving is a code for your divine response and also our weapon of victory over every battle, it gives us the knowledge that we are in control and not moved by circumstances, Psalm 69:30 I will praise God’s name by singing to him. I will bring him glory by giving him thanks. David knew his victory over his enemies was by thanksgiving, thus, he made it his lifestyle this morning never worry, but live a life of thanksgiving and praises to affect positive change in your life.

Luke 17:1-16

Declaration:

I declare my life as a model of thanksgiving, irrespective of challenges my last word is to give thanks and praises to God, and neither will I worry about anything beyond me because my God is in control glory hallelujah.

Prayers:

Father, I thank you for the grace to live a lifestyle of thanksgiving in Jesus' name, Amen.
