DECLARATION

Daniel4;28-30
[28] All this happened to King Nebuchadnezzar. [29] Twelve months later, as the king was walking on the roof of the royal palace of Babylon, [30] he said, ‘Is not this the great Babylon I have built as the royal residence, by my mighty power and for the glory of my majesty?’
The Bible said one day the cupbearer and the baker of the king offended him, so he put them in prison, when joseph came to them he observed their countenance has changed, he asked why do you look so sad, and they respond we had a dream and there was no one to interpret it for us. Joseph answered them “ do not interpretation of dream belong to God. Then he asked them to tell him the dream and he interpreted it.
With the story above we could see that before Joseph could interpret the dream, he gives honor to God who is an all-knowing God, able to help us beyond our expectations, and understanding. Proverbs 3:5-7, says, Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; [6] in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.[a] [7] Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil.
Joseph acknowledge God first, which opens an opportunity for him to meet the king, pharaoh which led to the fulfillment of his dreams as a prime minister, in a foreign land. The Bible says those who humble themselves and show gratitude by acknowledging God’s doing in their life are always elevated, promoted, and they succeed in life.
.
Irrespective of how Daniel explained the dream to king Nebuchadnezzar, with advice rendered to him, he still refuses to acknowledge God, by praising and declaring, "this great Babylon I have built as the royal residence, by my mighty power and for the glory of my majesty" Daniel 4:31-32
In verse 32 the bible says as he was prideful in his utterances a voice came from heaven and drove him away to live with the wild animals, he ate grass for seven years until he acknowledges the goodness of God before he was allowed back to reign as king in Babylon.
This morning may God help you to acknowledge him in every moment of your life, and it will alter your life for Good.
