OUR DAILY BREAD

Exodus 14:13
Moses answered the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again.
In Matthew 4:2, the Bible says, 'After Jesus fasted forty days and forty nights, He was hungry. The tempter came to him and said, “If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread.” See how subtle the devil was, he saw Jesus' condition, “he was hungry” so the enemy used the state of His condition or where He was weak and vulnerable to tempt Him. But Jesus was knowledgeable and powerful, He did not move, walk, talk, or respond to issues based on the condition He found himself in.
The nation Israel was at the seashore, with nowhere to escape. The Israelites were filled with fear, they cried to surrender because the Egyptians were approaching them. Moses looked at them and made a declaration with our opening scripture in Exodus 14:13, “Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today.
The Egyptians you see today, you will never see again.' He said the enemy you are seeing today you will see them no more. His declaration was in the present not the future. When you read further you will realize that God fulfilled His declaration by using the same route they passed through across the sea, yet the Egyptians He slain in the same place.
This morning, what are you declaring in your life? Are you still lamenting your children's problems or declaring the things you want to see in their lives? Are you still lamenting what you hear people saying about you or declaring what Christ has done for you?
Joseph had no time for his enemies until they came to bow before him, including those who sold him. Are you still lamenting over your marriage? Rather speak positively or pray and declare the goodness of God to transform things for the better.
Are you still worrying thinking and confessing negatively about your financial situation or health? In Luke 12:25-31, the Bible declares, let the weak say, I am strong and the poor say, I am rich, for Christ has supplied your needs according to His riches in Christ Jesus. Moses and Joseph never allowed conditions to push them to the wall to confess wrongly. Thus it should not be your portion. Renew your mind and speak what you want to see in Jesus’ name. Romans 12:1-2.
Meditation
Matthew 4:1-10
