BE HUMBLE!

DECLARATION

BIBLE VERSE - 1 Peter 5:6-7

Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that He may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.

Everything operates on principles. God gave Moses, Joshua, and the nation of Israel principles to follow for success in their journey. However, I believe the greatest principle governing heaven and earth, with a common reward, is humility. Satan was cast down from heaven due to pride; he lacked humility. On earth, Jesus was exalted because of His humility.

Philippians 2:8-9, it says, "And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the cross! Therefore, God exalted Him and gave Him the name that is above every name." Jesus had every reason to exalt Himself, yet He resisted the path of pride (Matthew 4:6-10). Today, many of God's children are under satanic manipulation due to self-centeredness and personal ambitions.

Proverbs 29:23 says, "A man's pride will bring him low, but a humble spirit will obtain honor." When the Bible says to humble oneself under God, it includes all leaders—government, companies, and church leaders. They are God's representatives in (Romans 13:1-7).

Today, all we need to succeed in life is His grace. As James 4:6-7 says, "But He gives more grace. Therefore, He says, 'God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble.'" Let's humble ourselves for His grace to abound, enabling us to prevail in life.

DECLARATION:

Father, I thank You for helping me avoid criticizing leaders, as it is unscriptural. I call for grace to pray for them and bless them to do the right thing in Your honor. I declare that I will also be remembered in prayers when I become a leader, in Jesus' name, amen.
