Psalm 139:7-10

Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? [8] If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there. [9] If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, [10] even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast.

David thought he was alone and smart, to do what he could do without anyone seeing him. Truly he did it all right by taking Uriah the Hittite's wife Bathsheba, impregnating her, and then later issuing a death warrant letter to his commander on the battlefield through Uriah, to place him where the battle is fierce to meet his untimely death, and Uriah died as David planned.

Little did David know, that God saw everything and sent the prophet Nathan to go and convict him of his sins. Then David declared in our theme scriptures ‘There is no place one can hide from the Lord, for where ever he goes the presence of God is there, including the deepest Sea where his hands could reach him easily.

Therefore as a child of God know that you are not alone in your secret place. Acknowledge that Christ is in you, with you, and around you. The very day you accepted Him, He and His Father came to abode in you - John 14:23, and Isaiah 41:10 says 'So do not fear, for I am with you, do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.'

This morning, I want to encourage you, don’t be ignorant of His presence. Live your life in honor of Him. What you cannot do in the presence of people, DON’T do it when you are alone, that is an honor to God and acts of worship that enable you to experience his peace and blessing in his fullness. Proverbs 3:6 says in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. Hallelujah!
