DECLARATION

Luke 11:1
[11] One day Jesus was praying in a certain place. When he finished, one of his disciples said to him, “Lord, teach us to pray, just as John taught his disciples.”
Today many Christians criticize their fellow Christians for praying or being in a constant mood of prayer with scriptures out of context. when we study the bible carefully, we could realize that prayers were the life wire of Jesus’s ministries.
In Luke 18:1 Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up, He also narrated how determined and perseverant they should be in praying by telling them the parable of the judge and the window. Luke 18:2-6.
The scriptures above give us great knowledge about Jesus’ prayer life, Luke 5:16 says he often withdrew to lonely places and prayed. Mark 1:35 said: Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house, and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed.
What an effective fervent prayer from our redeemer Christ Jesus that is worthy to emulate. Therefore, apostle Paul admonished us in 1 Thessalonians 5:17, to pray without ceasing, Jude also encourages us in Jude 20 - But you, beloved, building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit,
Prayers open the gate for us to communicate with our father, it allows us to progress and succeed in all that we do Daniel, praying in the spirit (tongues) gives us access to spiritual possibilities in life without limitations.
Hebrews 5:7 - During the days of Jesus’ life on earth, he offered up prayers and petitions with fervent cries and tears to the one who could save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverent submission. Thus, Hebrews summarizes Jesus’ prayer life to help us cultivate a healthy prayer life.
