Romans 1:16

For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes, first to the Jew, then to the Gentile.

Irrespective of all the challenges Joseph encounters he never gives up on exhibiting a character that people will see God in his tragic experience. King David was another remarkable example in our Christian life. He faced a lot of challenges, temptations, and trials that could lead him not to trust God but he kept holding on to God with testimony and thanksgiving.

Today, many are ashamed to proclaim the gospel and very ashamed to let people know they belong to the faith or the way. Many Christians are living a double life the kingdom of God and the world (Satan) but apostle Paul gives us the knowledge to walk in grace, whether we are being disgraced or persecuted.

Paul was in Rome to face trial for the sake of the gospel, in Rome, he was in chains and attached to a Roman soldier, he was seen as a criminal on his way to face judgment very soon on the street by many who sees him. Yet the message he carried was the good news of God the creator of the universe

Thus he said I am not ashamed of the gospel because it is the power of God that brings salvation. In Philippians 1:12-14, he also wrote. 12 Now I want you to know, brothers and sisters, [a] that what has happened to me has served to advance the gospel. 13 As a result, it has become clear throughout the whole palace guard[b] and to everyone else that I am in chains for Christ. 14 And because of my chains, most of the brothers and sisters have become confident in the Lord and dare all the more to proclaim the gospel without fear.

May God help you to stand firm and never move or change, rather keep on upholding the truth with practical demonstration that will advance God's kingdom, and never be ashamed of reaching out with the word.
