THEME THE TRIUMPHANT ENTRY 2023,

SCRIPTURES: EZRA:8:21-23 CTLGC
DATE 29/12/2022,
Thanksgiving
Last year at this moment the church was seriously praying for his grace and mercy upon us, our children, external families, and friends, as Ezra led the nation Israel to pray. Today we can boldly declare with Mary. In Luke 1:49, the Mighty One has done a great thing for us, holy is his name. “For what he promised he has fulfilled it” Thus, it called for thanksgiving prayers.
PRAYER TOPIC. A
1) Pray and give thanks to God for his awesome grace, mercy, favor upon your life, salvation, protection, provision, and care for you throughout the year 2022.
(Psalm 107:1, Ephesians 5:19 - 20)
2) Thank him for the health and provisions he provided you, your children, and your loved ones. (Deuteronomy 8:18, Nehemiah 9:21, Philippians 4:19)
FORGIVENESS
Forgiveness is imperative in our Christian lives; thus, apostle John wrote in 1 John 2:1
My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have an advocate with the Father—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. Though King David committed a serious crime but his prayers, and plead for mercy, led to forgiveness by God, nevertheless, his altered words when convicted made him the victim of his own judgment, thus, examine your life and seek help from the holy spirit, for any wrong utterances in this year 2022.
PRAYER TOPIC B
1) Pray for forgiveness against any negative utterances you have altered in 2022 that could easily follow you and ensnare you in the year 2023 may it be nullified in Jesus’ name. (Job 3:25-26, James 3: 2-12)
2) Pray that Any word you have spoken out of anger and arrogance against yourself, children, or loved ones, or anything you have done that the enemy or someone might use against you plead with the blood in Jesus’ name. (Psalm 139)
3) You may add your personal prayers with supportive scriptures in Jesus’ name.
(Please if you are on medication, we advise you not to fast but rather, read the scriptures and pray more)
