God's Word is His Final Word

Our Daily Bread:

2 Peter 1:3

According to His divine power, He has given us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us to glory and virtue.

Life without power is impossible. When we talk about power, I mean authority, rightness, and wisdom. Thus, every word of God is accompanied by His love, truth, knowledge, and power which make everything possible.

The Bible says in John 1:12, 'Yet to all who did receive Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God.' Some versions say He gives us power, why? Because we need the power to take dominion and rule the world in our new life (2 Corinthians 17:5).

Our opening scripture says that God's divine power, not our own strength, ability, power, or wisdom, has given us all things that pertain to life and godliness. It is by His grace (divine power). That's why David said, 'The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want' (Psalm 23:1).

Therefore, whatever God says about you is His final word to you. You need to believe, have trust, and confidence in that word and receive it. In Jeremiah 1:12, God says, 'I am watching over my word to perform it.'

Isaiah 55:10 says, 'As the rain and the snow come down from heaven and do not return without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so is My word that goes out from My mouth; it will not return to Me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.'

The Word is the Lord Himself and His power. Therefore, have confidence in it. Peter said, 'At Your word,' and he experienced results (Luke 5:5). You will also experience results when you invest your trust in the Word and act on it more than any other word.
