HAVE FAITH IN CHRIST

OUR DAILY BREAD

Romans 12:3

For by the grace given me, I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, by the faith God has distributed to each of you.

Christianity is about our faith in God's word through Christ Jesus. The Bible says in Hebrews 11:1 "Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see." That is, faith is believing to see the impossible becoming possible in one's life according to God's spoken Word.

The bible says there was a wedding at Cana in Galilee. The mother of Jesus Mary was there. Jesus and His disciples were also invited and suddenly the wine got finished. Mary was informed about it and she instantly approached Jesus “We have no wine”.

Jesus then responded in John 2:4-5 “Woman, why do you involve me?” Jesus replied. “My hour has not yet come.” His mother said to the servants, “Do whatever he tells you.” With these scriptures, although Jesus specifically stated His time was not up yet, nevertheless, because of Mary's faith in Him, He was compelled to meet her needs. [Psalm 32:1]

The women with the bleeding issue, the centurion, and the blind man all have faith in Jesus based on the Word and their lives were never the same. Our opening scripture says each one has been given a measure of faith. This morning, I admonish you to build up your faith in the Word who is Jesus (John 1:14) and your life would never be the same for all things will be possible for you.

Thank You, Father, for a measure of faith to build on in Jesus’ name, Amen.
