Acts 27:23-24

Last night an angel of the God to whom I belong and whom I serve stood beside me [24] and said, ‘Do not be afraid, Paul. You must stand trial before Caesar, and God has graciously given you the lives of all who sail with you.

In the book of Acts, the Bible said Paul got converted after his encounter with Christ Jesus on his way to Damascus, from then he began his missionary work of preaching the Gospel to the Jewish and Gentile communities.

He was strongly opposed and hunted by the Jewish community until he was arrested to face death trials. The Bible said he observed, though he might not have had fair trials. Thus, he appeals to Caesar!” in Rome. Acts 25:11, he was transported by a ship, on their voyage to Rome, He had revelations about the challenges they will encounter on the way but they never yield to his advice because he was a prisoner rather than the captain who is limited to earthly knowledge.

An angel appears to Paul and told him in our opening scriptures, you will get to Rome and stand trial before Caesar, and God has graciously given you the lives of all who sail with you. He said the lives of all 275 sailors are in your Hands. Finally, Paul the prisoner, becomes a God-made Captain and the man-acquired knowledge captain began to humble himself to Paul’s instructions. That saves their lives.

In 1 Corinthians 3:19, For the wisdom of this world is foolishness to God. As the Scriptures say, “He traps the wise in the snare of their own cleverness.” Finally Paul through God’s grace was able to captain them to the shore of Malta without losing life as a prisoner until they had a new ship to Rome.

This morning, the knowledge you need to be in control is the word of God. It can make you what it says. It's the Word, that turns hopeless into hopeful, great less into great full, weakness into strength, lack into abundance, and fulfillment of destiny.
