Matthew 28:20

... and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely, I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

In Psalm 139:7-10, King David said: Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there. If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast.

David thought he was alone, and smart to do what he could do without anyone seeing him. Truly, he did it all right by taking Uriah the Hittite's wife, Bathsheba, impregnating her, and then later sending a death warrant letter that will lead to Uriah’s death in the battle against Israel's enemy, so as to take her as his wife.

Little did David know that God saw everything, and sent the prophet Nathan to go and convict him of his sins. Then David declared there is no means one can hide himself or deeds from the Lord. Our opening verse said “And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Therefore, as a child of God, know you are not alone in your secret place. Acknowledge that Christ is in you, with you, and around you. The very day you accepted Him, He and His Father came to abide in you - John 14:23. Isaiah 41:10 says, 'So do not fear, for I am with you, do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, and help you, I will uphold you with my right hand.'

This morning, I encourage you. Don’t be ignorant of His presence. Live in honor of Him. What you cannot do in his presence, avoid doing it when you are alone. Give honor to God, and you will experience His peace, and your life will be full of His blessings.
