HIS KINGDOM FIRST

OUR DAILY BREAD

Matthew 6:33

But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

In Matthew chapter six, Jesus was given a long sermon to his audience and he concluded the sermon by encouraging them not to worry about their daily supply or needs as how the unbelievers do. But Matthew 6:33, But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Jesus encourages us to make the kingdom business our first priority, not one of our top priorities. He demanded the kingdom first in all our preferences. But unfortunately, the knowledge from the kingdom is always at last in our plans. YET when we failed woefully, we acknowledge God first for help.

To seek the kingdom first is to adhere to the manifestation of God’s rules according to His word first in every area of your life through the help of His Spirit. In practice, acknowledge God’s goodness in your life and surrender your daily activities, under His divine care. When you wake up in the morning, by giving him gratitude and thanks and availing yourself of his word.

The Bible said when David returned from battle, everything had gone bad in his absence and he and his followers’ wives were taken captive, but he strengthens himself and seek God’s counsel first “MAY I PURSUE THEM” God answered, go and you will overtake and possess all your possession and David was successful. 1 Samuel 30:8.

This morning, Christ has transferred you into the kingdom, thus. we can seek it as you can seek Belgium but you can live and abide by its rules, also do your best to walk as a kingdom citizen. Abide in the word by faith and all things will be given to you as well. May God help you.
