DAILY BREAD

Luke 3:16.
John answered and said to them all, “As for me, I baptize you with water; but One is coming who is mightier than I, and I am not fit to untie the thong of His sandals; He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire;
Prophet John said in our opening scripture that he baptized with water, but the One who is coming will baptize with the Holy Spirit and fire. What was John talking about? To be baptized is to be submerged or immersed in something.
When one, is baptized with the Holy Spirit, it means you are identified with Christ and established in His newness. You are wholly submerged in the power of His Spirit and might, being filled and overflowed with the power of the Holy Spirit so that your life is more of Christ than yourself.
This is the life our Father has called us into through Jesus Christ, making us different, and allowing others to see Christ in us. Thus, Apostle Paul admonished believers to fellowship with the Holy Spirit, for through that, we obtain insight and walk in the knowledge of God. The Spirit searches the deep things of God and makes them known to His children.
This morning, I want to encourage you to be conscious of the presence of the Holy Spirit in your life. If you have not been baptized in the Holy Spirit, begin to work towards that, acknowledging His presence and receiving this baptism. This way, you can enjoy the power of His grace, knowledge, and wisdom available to us in God's kingdom to succeed in our Christian life in Christ Jesus.
Meditation:
1 Corinthians 14:13,
1 Corinthians 2:10
Prayer:
Thank you, Holy Spirit, for your grace upon my life in Jesus' name.
