KEEP YOUR LIGHT ON

DECLARATION

Psalm 119:130

[130] The unfolding of your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple.

In Genesis 1:2-3 the bible said, the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. [3] And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. God’s first creation was light to pave a way for a vision and understanding of His doings in the world and man’s life.

This tells us light is imperative and one could not do without it, a blind is limited in all that he does, in Acts 9:8 Saul got up from the ground, but when he opened his eyes, he could see nothing. So, they led him by the hand of Damascus.

But there is a light that goes beyond our earthly light, that is the light that enables us to see the invisible world the light of God’s word, that consumes every darkness, Jesus said in John 8:12, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” John 1:4-5 says, In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. 5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

In our opening scriptures, it says the entrance of his word gives us light that is to see the invisible secondly understand, to walk in the divine knowledge of the word. Thus. if the bible says you are the light of the word Matthew 5:14, Christ has given you the access to see beyond the visible and walk in that realm of understanding through his word.

That makes you a conqueror.

This morning, I encourage you to keep your light connected to the word, for it is the only way you can know the devices of the enemy and overcome every thought that rises against you. Keep your light on through the study of the word, meditation, and prayers to reflect Christ’s Jesus earthly life that darkness could not comprehend and overcomes.

Declare this:

I am the light of the world; therefore I affirm no activities in the dark realm can overcome the light of God upon my life in Jesus’ Mighty name.
