PRAYERS!!

Daniel 10:13

Prayer is very important in our Christian life. When we pray, many things take place in the spiritual realm and one of the activities is, we engage the heavenly Angels to work on our behalf. When we pray, we cause a change in the realms of the spirit. As Daniel prayed for 21 days, there was a change in the spirit realms.

Daniel 10: 13 says, But the prince of the Persian kingdom resisted me for twenty-one days. Then Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me because I was detained there with the king of Persia.

This was an evil Prince reigning in that nation controlling everything from the spirit realm. But when Daniel prayed he caused a change in the realm. Daniel's prayers released angels to fight the evil Prince who was reigning in the spirit realms. This evil prince was removed, and God’s angelic beings took their ministry work over the nations.

When we pray, we do great damage to the kingdom of satan and affect those in authority with angelic support. Daniel 11: 1 says, and in the first year of Darius the Mede, I took my stand to support and protect him. In this scripture, we see how the angel took his stand to support and protect King Darius whose rules and decisions were in favour of God's children.

1 Timothy 2: 1-2. I urge, you first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people 2. for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.

Paul urges us to. pray for our leaders because they are the target of the enemy, as Daniel prayed.

This morning, I encourage you to put every weight of yours aside and focus on praying for those in authority, for every decision they take affects us even as Christians. When Moses was born, the law of King Pharaoh affected everyone including him and so was during the birth of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour.
