DAILY BREAD

Matthew 10:7-8
As you go, proclaim this message: ‘The kingdom of heaven has come near.’ [8] Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy,[a] drive out demons. Freely you have received; freely give.
There is a purpose in all that we do and often that purpose becomes our driving force or our strength pushing us to do more to achieve our set goals or visions. A businessman’s purpose is how he will maximize profit, a student studies hard to get good grades.
God's purpose to send His Son to die is to restore the kingdom and win many souls. Thus Jesus said in John 12:24 'Very truly I tell you, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds.' Which means the death of Jesus will produce more of his kind.
In our opening scripture, Jesus summoned His disciples, equipped them with the word, and gave them the grace to heal and raise the dead. He then admonished them to freely give as they have freely received. The disciples had not been with Jesus for more than a year, but God's purpose on earth to evangelize and win souls was the driving force that made Him send the disciples out to preach and give out the message they have received.
This morning, what have you received since you became born again and how much have you preached out to win souls and multiply the kingdom of God? The last words of Jesus after his resurrection is for us to GO into the world and preach the message Matthew 28:18-20. This is what you have freely received since you became born again, the message of truth, healing, comfort, and hope.
This morning, as Christ told the disciples freely you have received freely you give Matthew 10:8, you are also being told to give out the good message you received from God through your pastor and men of God, preach to the world, so the kingdom of God will increase in growth and you will also experience physical growth, spiritual growth, and sound health in your Christian life, Amen.
Meditation:
Proverbs 11:30
James 5:20
Prayers:
Father, I thank you for the grace to preach the gospel in Jesus’ name, Amen.
