Acts 1:24

And they prayed, "Lord, you know everyone's heart. Show us which of these two You have chosen

The Bible says in Jeremiah 17:9, “The heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked. Who can know it? Thanks! we are serving God who knows and can see the hearts of everyone, thus. in Proverbs 4:23, admonished us to guard our heart, for everything we do flows from it, and that is a place of God’s consideration and assessment.

One day, God told Samuel to fill his horn with oil and be on his way; "I am sending you to Jesse of Bethlehem. I have chosen one of his sons to be king.” 1 Samuel 16;1, The Bible says, when they arrived, Samuel saw Eliab and thought, “Surely the Lord’s anointed stands here before the Lord.” So he decided to anoint him."

God said in 1 Samuel 16:7 “Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”

In Jeremiah 17:10, God said, “I the Lord search the heart and examine the mind, to reward each person according to their conduct, according to what their deeds deserve.” This statement made by God should teach us a great lesson, about our faithfulness to God and everyone around us. That is why we, should let the Word richly dwell and be rooted in our HEART with total influence, so we shall be approved in all that we do and not be rejected as Eliab was.
