Our Daily Bread:

Matthew 10:7-8
As you go, proclaim this message: 'The kingdom of heaven has come near.' Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, and drive out demons. Freely you have received; freely give.
There is a purpose in all that we do, and often that purpose becomes our driving force or strength, pushing us to do more to achieve our set goals or visions. A businessman's purpose is to maximize profit, and a student studies hard to get good grades.
God's purpose in the world is to send His Son to come and die and reconcile the world back to Him. Thus, Jesus said in John 12:24, 'Very truly I tell you, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds.' This means that His death will produce more of His kind.
In our opening scripture, Jesus summoned His disciples, equipped them with the word, and gave them the grace to heal and raise the dead. He then admonished them to freely give as they have freely received. The disciples had not been with Jesus for more than a year, but God's purpose on earth to evangelize and win souls was the driving force that made Him send the disciples out to preach and share the message they had received.
This morning, consider the good news, sermons, and messages you have received since you became born again. How many souls have you reached out to and won for Christ in the kingdom of God? The last words of Jesus after His resurrection were for us to go into the world and preach the message (Matthew 28:18-20). This is what you have freely received since you became born again—the message of truth, healing, comfort, and hope.
Today, just as Christ told the disciples, remember that freely you have received; freely you give (Matthew 10:8). You are also being encouraged to share the good message you have received from God through your pastor, men of God, and the Bible. Preach to the world so that the kingdom of God will increase and grow, and you will also experience physical growth, spiritual growth, sound health, and blessings in your Christian life. Amen.
Meditation:
Proverbs 11:30
James 5:20
Prayer:
Father, I thank You for the grace to preach the Gospel in Jesus' name. Amen.
