THE LIGHT

DECLARATION

1 John 1:5. This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him, there is no darkness at all.

Jesus the son of God said in John 8:12 "Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” Also in John 1:4-5 it is written "in him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. [5] The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it."

The Bible says God is light, Jesus also declares during His earthly ministry that, "I am the light of the world, the light that gives mankind light". The question one may ask is what is that darkness that light makes it powerless? Darkness represents all the harmful, evil sicknesses and fearful things that could ever happen to a man. Some dictionaries define it as a monster that blinds and takes away peace with the replacement of evil and pain. This is what could not stand Christ with His goodness of healing and restoration from the darkness.

The Bible says in Colossians 1:13 that, God has delivered us from the power of darkness, and has translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son who is the light, the life, and the Word that became flesh to make us the light of this world.

Thus I admonish you this morning to connect your light to the word of God and keep your light on against all the schemes of the devil. Resist him with the power of the word of God that is at work in you and he will vanish as darkness before the light.

DECLARATION:

Father, I declare Your light is shining on me for your glory. I affirm the word has immune me against the schemes of the enemy, thus no weapon fashioned against me shall survive in me in Jesus' name. Amen

Prayer:

Father thank You for consuming all forms of darkness around me in Jesus' name, Amen.
