THE PRICE OF DISOBEDIENCE

OUR DAILY BREAD

1 Kings 13:22

You came back, ate bread, and drank water in the place of which the Lord said to you, “Eat no bread and drink no water,” your corpse shall not come to the tomb of your fathers.’ On his way a lion killed him.

Moses was a victim of the spirit of disobedience, the bible said he strike the rock God asked him to talk and he paid the cost by death, Adam and his wife were banished from their place of rest because of disobedient;

Most times we end up putting blame on people for our own disobedience and mistake, I think we must learn lessons from Adam’s disobedience and other characters, Satan was full of pride and disobedience and it is his will to lead believers under the power of disobedience to disobey the word.

When we study the bible carefully disobedient has a price to pay, lot wife disobedient cost her untimely death, God send a young prophet to deliver a message to the king of Judah for their disobedient and he was warned not to eat and drink, and not to take the same path in his return by God 1 King 13

An old prophet called on this young prophet to come and ate and drink because it was a message from God, which was a lie, and after eating with him he said in 1 Kings 13:22 you came back, ate bread, and drank water in the place of which the Lord said to you, “Eat no bread and drink no water,” your corpse shall not come to the tomb of your fathers.’ On his way a lion killed him.

Disobedience is an instrument of the devil which we have to guide against it, as believers. We have to study the word and meditate on it to have our fullness. Then we are ready to punish all disobedient when our obedience is fulfilled 2 Corinthians 10:6.
