Psalm 34: 8 - 10
Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good, blessed is the man who trusts in Him Oh, fear the Lord, you His saints there is no want to those who fear Him. The young lions lack and suffer hunger but those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing.
David said in Psalm 37:25 that, he has not seen the righteous forsaken or begging in life why? He was a man who had experienced God’s goodness and wrath in his life. A man who had tasted and realized the result between the fear of the Lord and a disobedient attitude towards God. Thus, he concluded there is no want for those who fear Him and he asked us to taste and see. This means those who give reverence to God, who live in His glory and trust in Him shall never live to lack.
This is to encourage us to stir up our faith and trust in the Lord through meditation, studying, and praying the word of God, for the earth is the Lord's and He made all things available to us in Christ Jesus. This is why every child of God must study and meditate on God's word to ensure that our faith and trust in Him grows.
Psalm 84:11 says For the Lord God is a sun and shield, The Lord will give grace and glory, no good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly, and it takes the righteous in God's wisdom to walk upright in Him. May He help you to affirm your faith in Him for His word declares He has made unto us, His wisdom and righteousness in Christ Jesus. Enjoy His goodness this year, Amen!
