OUR DAILY BREAD

Ezekiel 14:23
And they will comfort you when you see their ways and their doings, and you shall know that I have done nothing without cause that I have done in it,” says the Lord God.
Most often, we believe things happen to us by chance, luck, and even out of our mistakes or goodness. This may be true but I strongly think most of the time there is a cause of whatever happens. There is a reason for school., church, giving birth, and marrying.
The Bible says, David happened to witness the arrogant intimidations of Goliath against the nation Israel, and Eliab his oldest brother heard when he spoke to the men; 'and his anger aroused against David, and said, “Why did you come down here? And with whom have you left those few sheep in the wilderness, I know your pride and the insolence of your heart, for you have come down to see the battle. And David said, “What have I done now? Is there, not a cause?” 1 Samuel 17:28-29
In our theme verse, God told Ezekiel how terrible it would be when all four of these dreadful punishments fall upon Jerusalem—war, famine, wild animals, and disease -destroying all her people and animals and then the survivors who will come from Babylon, their actions and attitudes will vindicate the cause of His actions.
There is a cause of everything that we need to know and learn. David's cause brought victory to the nation Israel and he finally ended up becoming a king. Joseph's cause in prison ended him becoming the prime minister God had designed for him in Egypt. There was a cause for Herod's killing of all the male infants because of Jesus.
Paul encountered Christ on the way to Damascus to persecute Christians was the cause of him becoming an apostle later and wrote most of the epistles. There is a cause in your life and may God help you to know and understand the cause of every encounter and the necessary steps to take in the power of his might, Amen.
