WALK IN FAITH

DECLARATION

Luke 17:14-16.

When he saw them, he said, “Go, show yourselves to the priests.” And as they went, they were cleansed. [15] One of them, when he saw he was healed, came back, praising God in a loud voice. [16] He threw himself at Jesus’ feet and thanked him—and he was a Samaritan.

1 Corinthians 1:18 says for the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. It was so ridiculous in human knowledge for Jesus to tell the ten men who had leprosy “Go, show yourselves to the priest”. But the obedience and faith of these men were the power of their divine healing.

The Bible says in 2 Corinthians 5:7 For we walk by faith, not by sight. Jesus told Thomas “Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed. John 20:29.” this was exactly the response of these men with leprosy. The word of Jesus to them did not bring instant healing until they walked in faith. therefore, their faith was completed when they put into action, the spoken word of Jesus.

Today, how do you respond to the word in your life? One morning, I was working on a satellite connection for a 50-year-old lady who had been married for 10 years without a child. I sensed in my spirit that the woman was not happy so I asked, what is your problem? She said “I HAVE NO CHILD”

I prayed with her and the Holy Spirit ministered to her through me to read the scriptures and God will meet her. She was obedient and trusted fully in the word. Exactly a year later she carried her own baby. May God help you to trust in His word for the word never returns until it accomplishes its purpose. In Romans 12:3, in accordance with the faith God has distributed to each of you. Thus, I encourage you to put your faith to work.

Declaration:

I affirm that I am alive unto God! My life is made up of the word, for I am influenced by the power of the word, I declare by the word am walking in perfection, excellence, power, and wisdom in Christ Jesus.
