WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?

DECLARATION

1 Kings 19: 9

And there he went into a cave, and spent the night in that place; and behold, the word of the Lord came to him, and He said to him, “What are you doing here, Elijah?”

Sometimes, the question God asks Elijah kept on ringing in my mind “what are you doing here”. The day I read this scripture, the answer Elijah gave, the response of God proved that Elijah forgot God’s achievement through him. The ability to call fire from heaven, God's presence, and the anointing upon his life should make him know he is not alone. Yet he ran from the position of authority and destiny God had given him, thus; God asked him, WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?

Today many of us have forgotten where God took us from, where He saved us, how He healed us from terminal diseases, addiction, depression, loneliness, debt, and rejection, the power and authority he gave us, how He secured us from the pandemic and positioned us in His kingdom of light where the Lord's joy is our strength.

Nehemiah 8:10.

Rather we take certain decisions and set our eyes on things and places that could not help us, doing things contrary to God's will because of the pleasure of the world, but I believe whether Jezebel, the world economy, hatred, and bitterness from friends will make you take a certain decision, God is still on the throne and He will never change because of you Malachi 3:6. He is saying to you what are you doing here I have a plan for you, go back to your first love.

Though Jezebel wanted to kill Elijah but God's plan was to rapture Elijah in order not to taste death. 1 King 19:2, 2 Kings 2, Today my encouragement to you is to remain where God placed you and be zealous for Him, for the plans He has for you are best and it does not matter how people treat and talk to you. Your God remains, exceptional in your life.

DECLARE THIS:

I refuse to be influenced by anyone apart from what God says to me. I remain firm in where Christ has positioned me for His glory and services. I declare I am immovable because greater is He that is in me in Christ Jesus. Only with my eyes will I see the falling of the enemy amen.
