YOU CAN’T BE LIMITED

Matthew 28:2

And behold, there was a great earthquake; for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone [a] from the door, and sat on it.

The word limited means restricted, unable to move beyond certain boundaries due to financial constrain, illness, or spiritual imprisonment that limits you in life. Being confined in a particular location due to family partners. Many people are under that problem.

Today, many people including Christians are confined to a particular lifestyle, friends, and ancestral patterns, in which they can’t succeed in life. They are not able to achieve any good things or succeed beyond a certain level in life. Some are under demonic oppression and influence that confines them to some attitude. Some are also confined with a tag in the family whereby no one lives beyond a certain age.

As a believer, this should not be your portion. What killed or confined the family should not have dominion over you. In Matthew 27:64-66, the Pharisees influenced Pilate and paid heavy sums of money to the guards to secure and seal Jesus' tomb with a rock so that Jesus will not have His way out as planned by God.

But our theme scripture says, behold there was an earthquake for an angel of the Lord came from heaven and rolled back the stone and sat on it. That is, he sat on the power of LIMITATION. Today, what is your area of limitation is it addiction, curses, or family curses, believe Christ has rolled it away and you have heaven’s backing and backup to walk out free by faith in the word truth.

John 8:36 says, 'So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.' 1 Corinthians 16:13 says, Be on the alert. Stand firm in the faith. Be courageous. Thus, take your stand in the word about your situation for it is written you shall know the truth and it shall set you free, for if the stone could not hold Jesus’ captive in confinement, nothing can also hold you down in Jesus’ name.
