MY DAILY BREAD

YOUR GIVING
Philippians 4:19
And my God will supply all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.
King David said in Psalm 23, The Lord is my shepherd I shall not [a]want. [2] He makes me lie down in [b]green pastures; He leads me beside the [c]still waters. [3] He restores my soul, He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.
David never lives to want because his needs were supplied, he never lacks irrespective of the challenges he encounters, therefore, he wrote the above scriptures. Why...? He was a man who gives, sacrifice his life, sacrificed to the service of God, and fought for his nation at the risk of his life.
Thus Psalm 37:25, he said “I was young and now I am old, yet I have never seen the faithful forsaken or their children begging bread” because God has also been faithful to supply all their needs according to his riches. When we study our theme scriptures, it's mostly misquoted by believers when there are difficulties.
Paul’s declaration in context was for the very people who regularly support other branches of the church members in other religions their needs, thus. When he received their gift and other things he said my God will supply all your needs according to the riches of His glory as the result of their giving.
Therefore, our services, sacrifice, blessing to God, and people lay demand for our supply in God, Acts 20:35 said. “And remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’ May God help us in giving more than receiving for, surely, there is a blessing in giving.
