OUR DAILY BREAD

1 Peter 2:10
Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy
One of the effective abilities of God’s grace is how he turns our mistakes, shortcoming, sin, and mess, into something great to be worthy in society. That does not mean God encourages or delights in our weaknesses. But our desire to depend on Him for a change is important.
He is God who is able to use our failures and mistake to equip us to reach our destiny. Paul thought he was zealous for God by persecuting Christians. Rather he was a threat and enemy to Christendom. Yet his encounter with Jesus Christ made him an instrument in God’s kingdom where as all the believers were running away from him.
One day Jesus told his disciples He will soon depart from them, Peter asked, where are you going, and Jesus replied you can't follow me. Peter responded, “Lord, why can’t I follow you now? I will lay down my life for you.” Jesus’s reply “Will you really lay down your life for me? Very truly I tell you, before the rooster crows, you will disown me three times.
A few days later the Bible says Peter denied Jesus 3 times before the rooster crows during his trials, though Peter committed a sin by lying, Jesus used this same situation to make him stronger in his calling and urged him to strengthen his brethren. John 21:15-25.
This morning acknowledge that no matter the mistakes you have done trust in God and lean not on your own understanding and he will make His purpose concerning your life come to pass. He will use your worse for your best to glorify his name.
Meditation
John 21
